The Fine Print

Policies

Plain-English privacy, terms, refunds and disclaimers. Last updated October 2026.

These are a friendly starting point, not legal advice. Please have them reviewed so they fit your business before launch.

Privacy

The Monarch Meadows (a Monarch Company business) collects only what we need: your name and email when you download a guide, join our letters or contact us, and the property details you send for a Property Check. We use it to deliver what you asked for and, if you agreed, to send you occasional emails.

We never sell your information. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and we don't see or store your card details. You can unsubscribe at any time, and ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@themonarchmeadows.com.

Our site may use basic analytics and embedded YouTube videos, which can set cookies under those providers' own policies.

Terms & Refunds

The Tasmanian Property Check costs $14 AUD per property and is delivered as a digital report by email, usually within 2 business days of receiving your property details. Free guides are for personal use; please don't resell or republish them.

If we can't produce a report for your property (for example, it's outside Tasmania), we'll refund you in full. Because reports are personalised digital products, we don't otherwise offer refunds once a report has been delivered, but if something isn't right, please talk to us and we'll do our best to fix it. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Boots on the Ground visits are quoted individually based on the property's location, and confirmed with you before booking. They are an informal, honest look at a property, not a licensed building, pest or engineering inspection.
